Yay!

viSQL won second place in interactive compo at Evoke 2016! Thank you!

viSQL release - Evoke 2016

A very exciting day and some very last minute party-coding later, we proudly present to you:

viSQL is a toy to play with visualizin SQL tables containing static and dynamic data (images, video, music) and working with / combining the results in interesting ways.

WARNING - THIS HAS ONLY BEEN TESTED IN CHROME AND IS ONLY CONFIRMED IN CHROME AT THE MOMENT!

Due to some specific prefixed functions and webkit-openGL stuff, this only works in Chrome and Chromium as far as we know. Sorry! There is also a good chance that our sites scripts will not be allowed to access your webcam - to circumvent this you can always check out the whole thing and let it run locally on your machine: https://github.com/0mod4/colorbase

Some example tables are included for:

* showing images

* basic equalizer

* showing video feed from webcam

Other interesting examples include:

* Basic motion detection

* 3D visualization of camera feed

* 3D tables visualization

Try viSQL for yourself here!

Building on abstract data

Recently we had the idea to build a demo off abstract data. Like leaked databases from hacked platforms. Not showing connections you would do to make sense out of the chaos, but just as a basis for beautiful representation.

Maybe see you 2016 at Evoke?

Yay!

We won the 3rd place in the PC demo compo,
2nd place in the streaming music compo and
the 4th place in alternative demo compo at Evoke 2014.

See you at the "Under Construction" 2014!
